Within these camps we bring out the joy and excitement of doing something new with a group and making new friends. Camps usually have a different focus such as print making or pottery projects in the winter or, nature art and messy paint projects in the summer.

There are planned activities every day for the children, but the flow will always depend on the energy and needs of the children attending. A typical camp day begins in the garden with an experiential art activity moving into the large sand and forest area for excavation, water play and forest playground adventures. We then move into the studio for free play and a group art activity, moving back outdoors and finishing in the garden for a snack and a story before pick up time. We usually break from play twice during our day for snacks and water.

There will always be: Exploration of the studio, experiential art activities, outdoor play, other creative activities depending on the camp focus and time of year. This may include splatter painting, nature art, collage, fabric dye projects, water play or generally getting messy and having fun! Fee includes all materials and a small shared snack.

"My two children have enjoyed Julie's Little Loft camp offerings multiple times.

Julie has such a kind, warm energy and her years of experience working with young children always left me feeling confident about leaving my kids with her. Her creative activity offerings kept the kids engaged and left room for individual expression. The outdoor space is magical and my children loved coming up with imaginative games in her forest/creek area. I highly recommend it!"
