Registration is seasonal running autumn, winter and spring. The group grows together as time goes by, working through social aspects of personalities and developing confidence during group play, strategies for self-expression, patience, and connection to each other. Communication skills and self regulation when working through conflicts and misunderstandings are also areas with opportunity for  personal growth and understanding. Program planning is based on the needs and interests of the children attending. 

Each day starts with an art exploration that is set out for the group. There is free time to play or create in the loft and we then move to excavation and science based activities in the sand area. Time is spent exploring the forest where imaginative play and nature observation takes place. Depending on the time of the year we also may sow seeds in the garden, study bird nests, or bake on a chilly day. The group also collaborates on emerging interests that may result in a group project. There is always plenty of time taken for lunch and storytelling, ending with a provided group snack. Fees include all materials and a small shared snack.
